How and when should I load the "mating services"?

Each reproduction cycle has an unique status in the system. This state can be "service", "infertile service", "pregnant", "abortion", "calving problems " and "calving". You cannot enter a new cycle record until the current cycle has finished. What does this mean? As gestation evolves in different stages (from "service" to "infertile service" or "pregnancy", from "pregnancy" to "abortion" or "calving") you should not enter nothing new, but simply update current cycle status. We explain it better with an example: - On 11-20-2010 the female RP No 101 has been inseminated. You entered on the breedings page the "new service" for this animal with that date. 60 days later, on 01-20-2011 you checked the service status and you have 2 scenarios: - A: It is confirmed that the female has not been pregnant. In that case, you should go to the Breedings page, find the female id in the "unconfirmed service status" section, and change the current status to "infertile service" - B: It has been confirmed by ultrasound that the female is pregnant and due date will be for 08-30-2011. In that case, you should go to the Breedings page, find the female id in the "unconfirmed service status" section, and change the current status to "pregnant". On 08-30-2011 when the female has calving you should go back again to the Breedings page and you should update current status from "pregnant" to "calving". Remember, the system will not accept new breeding records for an animal until you finished the current cycles. Cycles are finished when a female: * has an infertile mating service * has an abortion * has a calving
