What is a Dairy Milk Control?

The milk control is a systematic method that gives to the farmer the chance to know the quality and estimated quantity of production in the lactation of each of his females. This estimation is performed with periodic measurements (usually monthly) of the amount of milk per day for each animal and other characteristics like milk fat, somatic cells, etc. The program's main objective is to make effective and efficient management of dairy farms. There are some official dairy controls in each country to analyze the state of the national breeds, but this practice can also be done privately by individual farmers.
